British MPs were set to debate whether or not to ban America’s most outspoken racist Donald Trump at 16:30 GMT today. The debate was to be held after more than 500,000 people signed an online petition.

Trump has been a target for controversy, and although if he could be ignored no one would give his views a second glance, he has been a frequent topic of articles on the b**p site, too. His abhorrent comments on a supposed ‘ban on Muslims’ and his branding of all Mexicans to be ‘criminals’ and ‘rapists’ have sparked outrage from the US to UK. Not to mention his startling impersonation of a disabled reporter.

The petition was started by Suzanne Kelly in 2015, and has amassed quite a following, after Trump tried to buy land in Scotland for a resort.

Basically she started hating Trump before it was cool.

She said in an interview, “I was already very disgusted with his behaviour,” after she saw how he would treat the environment around the park, and the people who lived close by.

While the ban may seem like a good idea, many believe it would cause difficulty in the UK’s relationship with the US, and instead that we ought to invite him into the UK to show him how culturally diverse we are as a nation.

Paul Flynn, veteran Labour MP, said it would be “totally illogical” to ban Trump, that “perhaps we can have a stroll down Brixton to have a look at the racial harmony there”, and discuss “why there are fewer gunshot deaths per year than America.”

Well let’s address that question here, shall we?

Guns in America: Able to purchase from most stores, even K-Mart in some areas, with just a driving license.

Britain: Must fill out relevant forms for the firearm, with a solid reason as to why a gun is needed, i.e. clay shooting or pest control, and the guns must be kept in a safe location, such as a steel cabinet bolted to a wall. You must store the ammunition separately, and cannot have the gun loaded when not in use. You will also be subjected to regular checks to see you are conforming to the proper regulations.

And as for the “stroll” idea, I hate to break it to you, Mr. Flynn, but Trump really doesn’t look like a man who breathes in culture, or appreciates ethnic diversity.

He does have a knack for getting on with eagles though.
