Guardians of the Galaxy, The Fault in Our Stars and Bad Neighbours have all been nominated for seven awards each at this years MTV Movie Awards. The competition is high for the best male performance category with the likes of Bradley Coooper (American Sniper), Miles Teller (Whiplash), Channing Tatum (Fox Catches), Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Ansel Elgut (The Fault in Our Stars) all competing for the coveted award.

22 Jump Street and Whiplash both have five nominations. Rosamund Pike is representing the UK with three nominations including break through artist and for her role in Gone Girl.

Comedian Amy Schumer will be hosting the ceremony on 12th April in Los Angeles. For a full list of the nominees CLICK HERE
