Mud, Traffic, and Cagoules

Sounds like Glastonbury to me!
Britain’s biggest music blowout has been hindered with issues since last night and this morning, and the music hasn’t even started properly yet.
Some festival-goers have been trapped in traffic for over 12 hours, as queues started to form after people “arrived too early”. The gates for Glastonbury open at 8AM GMT, however people were arriving well before then, causing massive queues stretching for miles on end.

I got from Vegas to UK yesterday quicker than I got from Essex to Glastonbury today. #glastonburytraffic

It’s safe to say that people were not happy.
Not only were there traffic problems, but now that people are getting settled, we can see the extent of the mud.
The Guardian has some rather… interesting photos, to say the least.
And a personal favourite from my very own Facebook timeline.
You poor poor souls.
People in the surrounding areas are being urged to not travel on the roads unless absolutely necessary until the traffic clears up. And bring wellies.
