Music: Lay Me Down

Sam Smith has hit the studio to re-record his single ‘Lay Me Down’. The track already features on his five million-selling debut album In The Lonely Hour. ‘It’s the song that got me my record deal, and it’s the song that started off my entire fan base’ admitted the ‘Stay With Me’ singer. Producers of the record, Jimmy Napes and Steve Fitzmaurice, helped Sam produce the latest version of the single.

The singer-songwriter has been nominated for six Grammy Awards and five Brit Awards this year. He will officially release the updated version of the track on March 15th. See what you think of the track below and you decide if it’s a hit or miss.
