No criminality in Clinton e-mails

The FBI has announced that in their latest investigation into a fresh batch of Hillary Clinton’s e-mails, there has been no criminality found.

Following a week of scrutiny from Democrats and Mrs Clinton herself, FBI director James Comey said in a letter to members of Congress that the agency has finished its review and their position remains the same.

With just one day until election day in the States, the Clinton campaign will be hoping that the damage has not been too detrimental and that the conclusion of the investigation will help bring undecided voters to the Democrat side.

As expected, the Trump campaign has fired back. An adviser to the Republican nominee tweeted: “Comey must be under enormous political pressure to cave like this and announce something he can’t possibly know.”

On board Hillary Clinton’s campaign aeroplane, her team welcomed the news: “We’ve seen Director Comey’s latest letter. We were glad to see, as we were confident he would, he’s confirmed the conclusions he reached in July.”
