Another Walking Dead game is on the way, after a few years of basically nothing. The last memorable Walking Dead game was Survival Instinct which was just awful. A broken, buggy, horrible looking thing.

This one, however…might be worth having a look at, if cinematic trailers are anything to go by. This trailer looks at Aiden, who seems to be down on his luck. The trailer begins with him listening to his voicemails, all of which are typical ‘stressed out normal bloke’ voicemails. From an angry boss to a dysfunctional family, it’s all there.

Then it changes.

For the worse.

Have a look.

It’s a cool set up, hopefully for a character that will be far more interesting to play as than Daryl in the last game I remember.

Overkill’s The Walking Dead will launch in Fall 2018.

We know literally nothing about gameplay so cool your jets. It has been confirmed that there will be coop. The storyline will see new characters in the universe of The Walking Dead, expanding on a world that has long since abandoned civilisation.

505 Games is publishing the game and has high hopes for the game too.

It’s been a long time coming for this title, with the games initial announcement being in 2014, then being delayed to 2017 and then 2018. Whether the game will benefit from such a long time in development is to be seen.

Gameplay will probably be released in the next few months, giving us a look at what to expect.

We suspect it will have something to do with this bat:
