Must be nice being trapped in your own ego. So, wrapped up in your own lies you have no concept of knowing what truth is. Either that or you’re just really stupid.

The French impressionist painting is known as Renoir’s Two Sisters (On the Terrace) is currently hanging in the Art Institute of Chicago, where it has been since the early 1930’s. However, our dearest POTUS thinks otherwise.

He believes he has the real deal.

Trump’s biographer shared this story on the Vanity Fair podcast, as he battled with Trump over whether this painting was legit or not. It wasn’t. Obviously. The fake was spotted on Trump’s jet, and Mr Tim O’Brien said:

‘Donald, it’s not. I grew up in Chicago, that Renoir is called Two Sisters on the Terrace. And it’s hanging on a wall at the Art Institute of Chicago.’

The next day, literally 24 hours later, Trump said to O’Brien:

‘You know, that’s an original Renoir.’

The original still resides in Chicago and it’s rather gorgeous.

O’Brien concluded his story by reminding everyone:

‘He believes his own lies in a way that lasts for decades. He’ll tell the same stories time and time again, regardless of whether or not the facts are right in front of his face.’

Need we say more?
