Welcome to our first line-up of releases for 2018! Slim pickings this month, so we’ll reel of a game or two as well. We have three movies that are worth watching. From horror to the true story of the Washington Post.

First, we have Insidious: The Last Key, which will be the fourth instalment of the Insidious series, which started back in 2010. Predictions are not great. The first movie had a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 66%, with subsequent films getting far less. Here’s the trailer.

Next up, we have The Post, which stars Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep star in this retelling of the real-life story of the Washington Post, as they expose three decades worth of US government secrets. Looks pretty good if you’re into that stuff. Thriller esc kind of vibe.

And lastly, for movies, we have 12 Strong starring Christopher Hemsworth. Based on the best-selling novels Horse Soldiers, it details the true events during the aftermath of 9/11 on the other side of the world. Might be worth a watch.

There’s literally one game in our releases worth chatting about which is Monster Hunter: World. Capcom’s latest instalment of the iconic series is coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4 on January 26th. We can’t wait to get stuck in the fray and beat the snot out of some monsters.

And that’ll do it, see you all next month.
