The 90s gave us lots of great things – ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’, sea monkeys and grungy haircuts – but one of the best things that came from the 90s had to be American boy band Boyz II Men. There’s no doubt that they were one of the bands that really warmed everyone up to R&B music and are probably one of the reasons why the R&B genre is so successful today. They were famous for singing a cappella, a style that is difficult for even the best of singers to master.

Their number one hit ‘I’ll make love to you’ always manages to make it high up in the lists of best songs from the 90s. Released in 1994 for their second album, the song spent a huge 14 weeks at the top of the Billboard list and won a Grammy and two American Music Awards.

Justin Bieber’s recent cover of the song – which included a bit of… floor grinding – really demonstrates the effect that this song has on us all.
