Review: Redbubble

As Christmas approaches, finding those cool fan t-shirts, jumpers and jackets for your friends and family is always a difficult task. But finding those cool fan clothes made by independent artists and making sure that they are ethically produced is even harder.

But fear not: Redbubble is here.

Redbubble is an online site that allows fans of TV shows like Doctor Who, Sherlock and Supernatural and films and books like Harry Potter to purchase t-shirts, jumpers, jackets, phone cases and accessories designed by independent artists. This means that the designs aren’t mass-produced and are also ethical. You’re giving your money to someone with a real talent for design and supporting them, rather than a huge company.

There is a vast array of clothing of all kinds on Redbubble, no matter how nerdy you are. It is so varied and diverse that you can be around ninety-nine percent sure that you won’t see someone wearing the same t-shirt as you wherever you go. This variety makes it easier to shop on Redbubble as a returning customer time and time again instead of having to look elsewhere for a great item of clothing.

While every designer I have purchased from ships from the US (which can lead to a high postage and packaging cost), the standard deliveries are timely and reliable. When you receive your package wrapped in Redbubble, well, ‘wrapping’, you have a cloth note attached to your item of clothing with a mini wooden peg. The note tells you how your item was made and where to contact if something went wrong – Redbubble really make you feel like a valued customer when you shop with them. To make you feel even better about Rebubble, they now give you a free ‘RB’ sticker with every purchase.

I personally always shop at Rebubble when I want a new fan-friendly, eco-friendly and just plain friendly company to purchase a t-shirt from (which is always). Each item I have purchased from Redbubble has been of a high quality and has fitted me perfectly in the size I have chosen with the help of their size guide. But the best part about the clothing is how stunning the designs are. Redbubble is absolutely fantastic and I recommend it to all fans looking for pretty clothes (especially with the Doctor and Rose on the front of them) around the world.
