Emma Bunton has put an end to rumours that the Spice Girls will be reunited for a 20th anniversary tour in 2016. The group last appeared together during the London Olympics closing ceremony but unfortunately rumours were quickly nipped in the bud by members of the band.

Members of the band were quick to joke about the rumours on twitter:

Melanie C said, “Woke up this morning wondering if I need to start practising my backflips!!??!”

Emma also joked, “Do I need to put my pigtails in??!”

The last tour that happened back in 2007 generated £107m ticket sales, which, as far as we know, was definitely the group’s last tour.

Hopefully a throwback of their top 5 songs over the years will help with the disappointment:

4) Spice up your life

 

5) Viva Forever
