Star Wars VR Game in the Works

A trailer for a new Star Wars experience has emerged online, offering a gleaming new look at the franchise. The title of the program is Star Wars: Trials on Tatooine, and was shown off by using the HTC Vive.

The video shows the player wearing the headset, while also holding the controller. They are then dropped into a VR sim of Tatooine, where a bunch of ideas and scenes are played. The Millennium Falcon is seen landing, then R2-D2 pops out a lightsabre from one of his compartments. A few shots of some Tie Fighters later, and the player is deflecting Storm Trooper blaster fire using a lightsabre.

There are currently no details on how the title will continue to evolve; however, it looks to be the Star Wars game we’ve wanted for a while.

But we’ve been wrong before.
