Stranger Things 2 Is Here!

Yes, just in time for Halloween, Stranger Things Season 2 is finally here! Stanger Things 2 is now available for streaming on Netflix with the entirety of the season being available now. It’s been a long wait since the first season, almost a year and a half, but if it’s as good as the first, it’ll be incredible.

The first season was a runaway hit, creating a fanbase we haven’t seen in ages. People loved the 80s theme and the mystery. The likes of which we haven’t seen in a movie or a series since the 80s

Ahead of the release, it was revealed that a third season is on the way and there had been some minor conflict with Netflix regarding the name. Creators Matt and Ross Duffer deliberately avoided the word ‘Season’, to the distaste of Netflix, but the creator’s response was:

“When we started describing it as a sequel, Netflix was like, ‘Don’t do that, because sequels are known to be bad,'” said Matt. “I was like, ‘Yes, but what about T2 and Aliens and Toy Story 2 and Godfather II?'”

Plus, it just sounds cooler.

David Harbour played Jim Hopper, a down on his luck police chief who gets really wrapped up in some weird stuff really fast. He’s also going to be playing Hellboy. 

The Duffer brothers previously suggested a season four would be the last, but director Shawn Levy has gone on to say a fifth could happen. “Hearts were heard breaking in Netflix headquarters when the brothers made four seasons sound like an official end, and I was suddenly getting phone calls from our actors’ agents,” he said. “The truth is we’re definitely going four seasons and there’s very much the possibility of a fifth. Beyond that, it becomes I think very unlikely.”

I am so ready and perfect watching for Halloween!
