Taylor Hits One Million

In its first week of sales, Taylor Swift’s latest album, 1989, has sold almost 1.3 million. 1989 is now the biggest-selling album of 2014 and has beaten Eminem’s The Eminem Show to become the fastest-selling album in 12 years. Taylor tweeted “Industry experts predicted 1989 would sell 650k first week. You went and bought 1.28 million albums”.

It seems that entirely removing herself from Spotify hasn’t dented her popularity.
