After it was suggested that The Wolf Among Us was not in development, Telltale have pulled it out of the bag, saying the sequel to the game is on its way for 2018. Telltale also revealed plans for a second season of the Batman: Telltale series and the final season of the Walking Dead series. About time, too.

Batman: Enemy Within will be the title of the next game, and will carry over the choices players made in the first game. Troy Baker will return as Batman, with Anthony Ingruber returning as The Joker, who will play a much bigger role this time around.

There were few details on the last season of TWD, as it is much further off. We do know that it will feature Clementine as the lead role. The same applies to The Wolf Among Us 2, which will be out in the second half of 2018. Telltale said:

“This new season will begin a fresh story arc for its returning cast of characters, featuring the return of Adam Harrington as Bigby Wolf and Erin Yvette as Snow White.”

TWAU was arguably Telltale’s most well-received game, given the fact it was a totally new IP for them and followed a formula that wasn’t as predictable as the other games.

Here’s the update video where they revealed everything:

2018 is going to be a good year for Telltale fans.

Who knows, maybe they’ll update their engine.
