A new smartphone is to be developed by, supermarket giant Tesco; they plan to launch their very own in September at their Tesco Mobile Store’s.
Tesco Chief executive Philip Clarke said “The device would be pre-installed with Tesco services”
Tesco have already proven themselves as a fierce competitor in the mobile device market with their tablet, the Hudl. It sold for £119, the lower end market.
Tesco has plans for its smartphone to follow on.
The device will be expected to be comparable to the higher-end of the mobile phone market; but aggressively priced.
The mobile Phone will also run Google’s Android software, and will be tough competition for the Samsung Galaxy S5.
