The BFG is to be Made into Movie

The BFG book written by Roald Dahl, will be turned into a movie, and will be produced by Steven Spielberg.

The much-loved children’s book will be filmed in early 2015, and will be released in 2016; the year of Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday anniversary.

The BFG (Big Friendly Giant) was first published in 1982 and was considered by Dahl, who died in 1990, to be one of his favourite books.

Steven Spielberg has directed movie classics such as Indiana Jones, E.T and The Goonies.

Frank Marshall will be producing the movie, Michael Siegel and John Madden will serve as its executive producers.

The film is guaranteed to be a family hit.
