Sunday night saw British singer Sam Smith  the big winner of the night at the 2015 Grammy Awards, held in Los Angeles. The 22 year old was named Best New Artist and also took the award for Best Pop Album for In the Lonely Hour.
He competed against ‘Fancy’ by Iggy Azalea featuring Chari XCX, ‘Shake it Off’ by Taylor Swift, ‘Chandelier’ by Sia and ‘All About That Bass’ by Meghan Trainor. in the Song of the Year category, again where he was successful.
Along with his scoop of four awards, Sam got to share the stage with songstress Mary J Blige at the ceremony which was attended by the likes of Beyonce, Jay Z, Pharrell Williams and long list of notables in the music industry.
Pharrell Williams, Beyoncé and Rosanne Cash each won three awards, but Sam Smith stole the night and proved himself as one of the pops biggest stars. Check out some of the winners below:
