This Could be a TV Show

Y’know, 2017 so far has been okay.

It just got better.

Say hello to literally the best, most honest advert for the Furkids Animal and Rescue Centre in Atlanta, US.

The shelter has a ‘no kill’ policy, meaning that they will never put a healthy animal down if they can’t find a home for it. Which means, obviously, there are veritable litter-loads of cats and dogs who need new homes.

To promote the amount of fluffs they have, they made a small, rather charmingly low-budget commercial.

Literally best video so far, this year.

It’s a harmless parody of the stereotypical local adverts you would get on TV at 4AM, with a larger-than-life salesman trying desperately to sell stuff.

Well, this particular salesman has us sold.

The entire ad apparently only took 30 minutes to record fully, according to Samantha Shelton, a spokesperson for the shelter. The guy you see in the video is Paul Preston, the brother of one of the volunteers.

If you live in Atlanta, why not adopt a cat? Or a dog? Or both?

Or all of them.
