Rihanna has announced a huge world tour amidst speculation of when her latest album will be released. The singer revealed she will play 70 dates around the world, including North America and Europe, and during which she will play six dates in the UK in June. She will be supported by The Weeknd, Big Sean and Travis Scott.

Despite not revealing an exact date for her album release, RiRi has already presented the artwork and name for the record; Anti. Rumour has it that the album will be released on Friday 27th November. In preparation, a large number of ads were shown during Sunday’s American Music Awards for Anti, hinting that something was on the horizon for the 27-year-old.

Rihanna has released seven albums in seven years and Anti will be her eighth, her first release since 2012’s Unapologetic. Inevitably, the summer gigs in 2016 are likely to lead to festival appearances, although nothing has been confirmed as yet.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Thursday December 3rd, although tickets will be available earlier for members of Jay-Z’s streaming service, Tidal.

The UK dates for Rihanna’s tour are:

June 14 – Coventry, Ricoh Arena

June 16 – Cardiff, Principality Stadium

June 18 – Sunderland, Stadium of Light

June 24 – London, Wembley Stadium

June 27 – Glasgow, Hampden Park

June 29 – Manchester, Old Trafford Cricket Ground
