Two for One Movie News

What up, we have two stories that we’re going to mush into one. Mission Impossible got its latest trailer and The Lego Movie is getting a sequel! Sweet.

Starting with Tom Cruise’s longest-running acting gig, Mission Impossible is getting its sixth film in the series. Mission Impossible: Fallout has had a new international trailer and shows a bunch of new stuff we haven’t seen before, including a rather sharp looking Simon Pegg.

It looks pretty cool, with some decent action scenes and Henry Cavill looking harder than he did as Superman. At least the moustache looks good, given all the controversy around it. We aren’t sure if this will be the last in the franchise, or if there will be any more movies planned.

A few months ago, it was revealed that Tom Cruise had actually broken his ankle during a stunt, which is shown in the trailer, as he jumps out of a certain window.

After that, we have a small reveal of a sequel to 2014’s The Lego Movie, which will be the best movie ever as far as we’re concerned. Seriously, The Lego Movie was one of the best things to come out of 2014.

It starred Chris Pratt as the voice of Emmett and combined literally every Lego IP you could imagine. It was a really cool, fantastically animated romp that literally anyone could enjoy and the fact it’s getting a sequel is just great.

The most recent Lego movie Lego Ninjago did reasonably well and was met with okay reviews, but nothing beats the original.

Or The Lego Batman Movie. That was 2017’s diamond in the rough.

Went to see that over John Wick 2. Was not disappointed.
