Having fallen short in it’s first attempt at taking the top spot at the movies American Sniper has reached number one in the UK Box Office top 10, knocking Taken 3, which lasted two consecutive weeks at the top, into the number two spot.

American Sniper featuring Bradley Cooper as the deadliest gun man  has already made £6.6m after just its second week of release

For the first time since entering the top ten Paddington slipped out of the top five but their £484,868 weekly earnings was enough for it to hold onto sixth.
