Fast and Furious 7 has topped the UK Box Office making four times as much as their closest rival on the chart, Kenneth Brannagh’s Cinderella. The American action film made £12.7 m between Friday and Sunday making it the second highest debut of 2015 with only Fifty Shades of Grey topping that total this year.
The Disney remake of Cinderella was second in this weeks chart making £13.5m, the American 3D computer-animated comedy film Home is in the third spot this week making £2.3m between Friday and Sunday.
Fast and Furious 7 marks the final appearance of actor Paul Walker, who tragically died in a car crash on November 30 2013, whilst the film was being made. After the death of Paul filming was delayed and his brothers Caleb and Cody were used as stand-ins to complete the remaining scenes.
