Varane to Chelsea?

The Barclay’s Premier league leaders Chelsea are in pole position to land Raphael Varane.

Jose Mourinho is interested in the highly rated 21 year old. Jose is looking to strengthen his defense and the Frenchman seems to be the main man for the job.

Real Madrid are reportedly open to offers in the region of £19 million. Meaning if Chelsea manager offers a reasonable price tag for the centre back Raphael could be reunited with former Real Madrid manager Mourinho.

In the event Varane moves to Stamford Bridge, Manchester United will be forced to step up their pursuit for Barcelona’s centre half Gerard Pique as he is also struggling for playing time.
