England secured a 3-1 win over rivals Scotland in an international friendly last night.

Wayne Rooney fired home twice to make it 7 goals in 7 international appearances.

Alex Olade – Chamberlain headed home for England’s opening goal thirty minutes into the first half, with a very impressive long ball from Jack Wilshere to give England the lead.

Rooney shortly followed Chamberlain’s lead just after half time, placing another headed effort into Scotland’s bottom corner.

The Scots shortly pulled a goal back in the 83 minute due to outstanding link up play between A Robertson and substitute Johnny Russell down the left wing.

Immediately England came back with an incisive pass from the tireless James Milner sending Lallana down the by-line to who other than England’s skipper to slam the Liverpool mans cut back from 6 yards.
