YouTube stars Zoella and Alfie Deyes had their first sitting on Monday for their wax doubles which will be joining the London wax attraction at Madame Tussauds later this year.
Zoella tweeted: “So @PointlessBlog & I have been asked to be made into wax figures for Madame Tussaudes! BEYOND EXCITED. Such a cool opportunity :).”
Zoella’s Youtube channel has more than seven million subscribers. In December she released her first book, Girl Online, which became the fastest selling debut novel selling more than 78,000 copies in the first week.
Alfie wrote on Twitter: “ZOE & I ARE GOING TO BE WAX FIGURES IN MADAME TUSSAUDS!!” His ‘Pointless’ vlog has just under four million subscribers.
Their wax sculptures will be displayed lounging on the bed uploading videos in a re-make of the couple’s spare bedroom in their home in Brighton which they purchased earlier this year for £1 million. The sculptures will also be wearing their clothes after agreeing to donate them to the famed tourist attraction.
