Motivation Monday: your dream job

In the midst of all this horrific revision and exam prep, it can be easy to lose sight of the final goal, and then lose all of your motivation.

That’s why I thought that with just two weeks to go before study leave begins and our lives end for a month or so, it would be good to inject some motivation into anyone reading this. So, in case you missed it, this week’s #YEAR13PROBLEMS column is all about that dream job.

Chances are, you’ve got a job (or something) in mind for your future, and you need your A Levels to be as best they possibly can be to get there, even if it’s not uni. After all, whatever you do career-wise or opportunity-wise, it’s a competition. And good A Levels can bump you up the food chain.

So, without putting the world’s greatest block of anxiety on your shoulders, just have a think about the dream job you’re going for. What would it be like having it? Would it be amazing because you could travel? Or because you could help people? Would it satisfy you to be doing something you love for the rest of your life? (P.S. the answer to the last question is undoubtedly a yes.)

I hope those questions provoked something positive within you this Monday. After all, we all need a little push from time to time. This time, I’ve hopefully pushed you out into the sea of grabbing your future dreams and never letting go.

See you next week.
