To be fair, he did break his arm.

Ed Sheeran, everyone’s favourite (or least favourite) ginger performer, has cancelled dates in Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong. He posted a picture to his Instagram, saying, ‘A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow.’

The singer/songwriter has a further eight dates scheduled this year, including three sold-out gigs in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. He will then take a three-month hiatus, which coincides with the Grammys and the Brit Awards, before resuming his tour in Australia next march.

Ed Sheeran’s concerts basically consist of him on a stage with a loop peddle and guitar, to layer up songs. Losing the use of his arm would make this set-up basically impossible.

He headlined Glastonbury this year, which left a few people a bit miffed and has a bunch of stadium dates coming up next year, one of which being four nights in Wembley Stadium.

Poor Ed.
