BBC One soap Eastenders dominated at the British soap awards winning a total of eight awards including Best British Soap last weekend.

Adam Woodyatt who plays Ian Beale won the award for best actor which is no surprise after having one of the main roles in the search for who killed Lucy Beale. Linda Carter who is played by Kellie Bright won Best Actress as well as an award for the Best Dramatic performance.
