Sam Bailey joined the long line of X Factor stars dropped by Simon Cowell’s Syco imprint last week. The singer who reigned supreme in 2013 is said to be happy about the move and looking forward to the future, but surely that has to be a clause in the contract they sign anyway.

Sam was coached by Sharon Osbourne during the 2013 series and was tipped as the winner from the start. She joins the likes of James Arthur and Leona Lewis who have also ‘left’ the label in the last 12 months for one reason or another.
