7 Days Fake

Reckless Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison released her own weight-loss DVD named 7 Days Slim and it just so happens that the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) banned her from showing the advert on TV after it proved ‘misleading’ to viewers.

The TV ad encouraged viewers to believe they could lose three stone in only one week – which is virtually impossible unless you begin to amputate your limbs. The ad had shown ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures of her weight-loss after she claimed she’d ‘lost three stone with this DVD’.

Pattison, who was cleared of assault charges back in 2013 after a pub brawl, still has a bright side to look at after the 7 Days Slim DVD topped the fitness charts in December last year, knocking Davina McCall’s reliable work-out DVDs from the top spot.

The ASA later blasted the wannabe’s ad by going as far as claiming it ‘breeched the code’ and repeated how ‘misleading’ the promotion is to consumers.
