Bye, Boris.

Boris Johnson will be leaving his mayoral position after eight long years after this Thursday’s election.

According to a poll, Labour’s Sadiq Khan is set to win this week, being nine points ahead of Tory candidate Zac Goldsmith just two days before the polls actually open.

In light of this, the Evening Standard has asked several leading Londoners from all sectors and industries to see what they’ll remember most about the buffoon.

Let’s just say, the majority of the responses weren’t… great?

Former Mayor Ken Livingstone shed light on the “real tragedy” that is London’s air pollution under Johnson’s time as mayor. Alistair Campbell called him “Mayor of Boris, not Mayor of London”.

But it was Mr John Prescott’s response that was just pure gold.

A man of few words.

Well, you had a good run, Boris. And by good run, we mean the awful run of terrible housing, air pollution, terrible transit problems and him generally being…well…Boris.
