Center Parks, a beacon for middle class, boring outdoorsy holidays, is losing its family friendly rating due to:
The only (we say only) problem with this supposed outcry is that Center Parcs has said it was up to the parents to put content blocks on their tablets and phones. The paper then goes on to mention its own campaign, showing readers how they can block porn sites in their own home, however putting one on their family device is too much to ask, it would seem.
While the family that provoked this story ‘raised the alarm’ about the issue, many have totally disregarded the fact that things don’t just look themselves up on Google, and maybe, actually interacting with your child and talking to them about internet safety would do more good than putting a blocker on your home devices.
While the resort stated they do not control what visitors look up, they do block illegal content.
