Bafta-winning star Julie Walters has been named Dame Commander of the British Empire for services to drama. She has starred in numerous award-winning movies like Billy Elliot, Mamma Mia! Calendar Girls and Harry Potter. She described the honor as ‘fantastic and ‘it’s not really real.’

She said that she ‘weeded the garden’ in celebration, thinking ‘I wish my parents were here’.

Look if anyone’s deserving of the title of Dame then it’s this lovely lady. She also played the titular role in the movie A Short Stay in Switzerland, a movie that centered around the true story of a woman who took her own life through euthanasia, after battling a motor-neuron disease. It was a real-life look at the struggle of someone who wanted to die so bad due to an illness and her performance was phenomenal.

Well done Dame Walters.

The Weasleys would be proud.
