GoT Season 8 Won’t Air in Cinemas

Rumours that Season 8 of Game of Thrones will be aired in cinemas have been denied by HBO’s programming boss, Casey Bloys, stating it has no plans to air the episodes anywhere other than TV. He claimed that the series was for the subscribers, referencing that only HBO (or equivalent) viewers could experience the show.
It wouldn’t be such a stretch to assume that people would happily go beyond their TV service providers to see the next season of the show, given that the premiere of Season 6 was shown in some theatres. As for Season 8, all we know is it will likely come out next year, 2018 or 2019.
Season 7 began at the weekend, and tons of fans have shown their hype for the coming episodes.

Also, can we talk about how great everyone looked on the red carpet?
I love them.
Let’s just hope they all make it to the end of this season.
