Tips for stressed students

It’s about this time of the year that thousands of students all over the country wake up to the sudden realisation that exam season isn’t as far away as they thought it was.

In the sudden panic which almost invariably ensues (unless you’re one of the terrifying prepared ones who’ve been revising since January. Last year), it’s very easy to get stressed. So here are three quick tips to help you through this difficult time:

1) Go outside – even just take a step out of the door. Fresh air will clear your head and help you leave the stress behind at home. It can also link nicely in with the next tip…

2) Get some exercise – exercise can help get your mind off things and de-stress. And it will help you stay fit despite all of the hours working at your computer.

3) Spend time with friends and family – there’s no better way to de-stress than to spend time with people who mean something to you. Even just wandering around the shops will help you get away from your work.
