Malala was flown to the UK for treatment and rehabilitation after being shot in the head by Taliban gunmen in October 2012 for campaigning for girls education after writing a diary about the life under the rules in North-West Pakistan.
The 18-year-old received top results in her GCSEs, gaining 6A*s and 4As. She received A*s in biology, chemistry and physics, along with religious studies. She got an A in history, geography, English language and English literature.
Her father Ziauddin Yousafzai posted on twitter, “My wife Toor Pekai and I are proud of Malala getting 6A*s and 4As, #education for every child.”
Last year she became the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize after her anonymous diary was published to the BBC’s Urdu website.
