FLOTUS: More Than Just Donald’s Wife

Now that the Inauguration Day has finally been and gone and the United States of America is now governed by the Republican Party, it is time for the American people to start getting to know the entire Trump family, Melania included. The First Lady has always been expected to get involved with presidential affairs. The former First Lady, Michelle Obama, played an active role in many of both her own and her husband’s campaigns and Melania Trump will have a lot of pressure on her to do the same. Despite negative press and speculation, Melania Trump seems to have all the relevant expertise that would make her a great political figure in the US. Here are a few reasons why:

1- Melania was born in Yugoslavia which was a communist state. This means that she has experienced political unrest on a personal level and knows first-hand the lifestyle associated with bad government.

2- She speaks English, French, German, Serbian and Slovenian which may come in useful during international campaigns or communications.

3- She’s an entrepreneur with her own line of skin care products and jewellery.

4- She is a philanthropist.

5- Most importantly, the first time Donald Trump asked for her number, she told him he couldn’t have it.
