Hard Work Pays Off

English Indie rock band Alt-J have secured third place in the Hardest Working Bands of 2013, thanks to their164 shows covering over 251,443 miles! Alt-J have had a good couple of years to their credit, releasing their debut album An Awesome Wave in May 2012, releasing it in America four months later and then going on to win the 2012 British Barclaycard Mercury Prize.

 

Second place went to American Hip-Hop artist Kendrick Lamar performing at 171 shows while covering 229,538 miles and first place went to Cali based Indie rockers Local Natives, previously known as Cavil at Rest, who racked up 188 shows covering a whopping 192,468 miles!
