Yes. Dermalogica is worth it, and we’re here to tell you why. If you’ve been struggling to find that perfect moisturiser, exfoliant or toner, Dermalogica is well prepared to sort you out. With a huge range of products, there’s certainly something for everyone – and you may even be tempted to try them all, they’re that good!
So, of course, we can’t review them all in one go, so today we’re going to focus on three main products; daily microfoliant, special cleansing gel and skin smoothing cream.
- Daily Microfoliant – £41.75
Our number one exfoliant! Gentle, rice-based exfoliating powder activates upon contact with water, releasing papain, salicylic acid and rice enzymes that micro-exfoliate dead cells, instantly leaving skin smoother and brighter. Formulated without artificial fragrances and colours.
Our rating: 3.5/5 – This product is truly brilliant for exfoliating your skin. Once you’ve washed it off, you’ll be left feeling fresh and clean, removing all of the excess dirt. The only downside to this is that you do have to use quite a lot in order for it to mix with water properly and form a lather, which can be a little bit frustrating. Otherwise, though, this product is definitely a must-have.
- Special Cleansing Gel – £28
This soap-free, foaming gel cleanser with a refreshing lather thoroughly removes impurities without disturbing the skin’s natural moisture balance. Calming balm mint and lavender extracts soothe the skin, while natural quillaja saponaria gently foams away toxins and debris for a super-clean surface. Formulated without artificial fragrances and colours.
Our rating: 4/5 – Using this alongside the daily microfoliant will leave your skin feeling perfect. It’s easy to apply and gives a perfect finish to your complexion.We can’t pick any major faults with this product.
- Skin Smoothing Cream – £47.70
Medium-weight moisturiser to balance combination/dry skin. Deep-moisturising lecithin and aloe gel nourish while extracts of mallow, cucumber and arnica soothe and hydrate the skin, helping to restore suppleness and tone. Antioxidant grape seed extract plus vitamins C and E help shield skin from environmental assaults. Formulated without artificial fragrances and colours.
Our rating: 4.5/5 – If your skin is normally quite dry, this will work absolute wonders. It’s amazing! Never has a product left your skin feeling so smooth before, so much so that you could even use it as a primer if you wanted to. You’ll be feeling your lovely, smooth skin for days.
Overall, it’s clear to see that Dermalogica is definitely a great brand to opt for if you’re wanting to improve the condition of your skin, leaving it feeling all fresh and pretty. While it may be slightly more on the expensive side, it’s definitely worth it.
