Christopher Plummer, who took over as the lead role for All the Money in the World has been nominated for a Golden Globe.

Plummer took over the lead role in Ridley Scott’s upcoming film after a string of allegations were levied against Kevin Spacey by multiple men in Hollywood. The nominees for best drama film include Call Me by Your Name, Dunkirk, The Post, and many more.

Dunkirk was a thrilling retelling of the Dunkirk evacuations in WW2 from the beaches of France.

Dames Helen Mirren and Judi Dench are both among British nominees. They are alongside Saoirse Ronan, Margot Robbie and Emma Stone in the best actress in a comedy or musical category.

Spacey appeared in a trailer, starring as the late oil tycoon Jean Paul Getty as recent as September. Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams, who also star in the film, had to take part in reshoots for the movie. It is unclear whether release date at the end of December will be met.

Gary Oldman looks a bit out of it as Churchill. but perhaps that’s the point.

Other notable nominees are Gary Oldman, for his performance as Winston Churchill, in Darkest Hour, Nicole Kidman and Robert De Niro have been nominated in the TV categories. Both Kidman and her co-star Reese Witherspoon are both up for best actress in a limited series for their work in Big Little Lies.

The 75th annual Golden Globe Awards will take place on 7th January 2018 and will be hosted by Seth Meyers.
