The next season of The Grand Tour, Amazon’s take on Top Gear with Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, will be staying based in the UK. Amazon has said that because of ‘sore joints, struggling lungs and a combined age of 158’, the show’s HQ will be in the UK, a mere 10 miles from Jeremy Clarkson’s home.

It will be filmed on a millionaire’s estate in the Cotswolds, where the Wilderness Festival takes place.

The three main hosts will still travel, however. Season 2 will include places such as Croatia, Mozambique, Dubai, Spain, Switzerland, Colorado and New York.

This change came about as Richard Hammond narrowly escaped being killed (for the third time) when his car crashed and went into flames and Clarkson was hospitalised with pneumonia.

The filming of the next season will take place between 25th October and 19th December.

You can even apply for tickets to attend the filming in the Cotswolds if you wanted to.
