The Mobos 2014

The Mobo awards took place last night at Wembley Arena but the event was extremely painful to watch as viewers branded presenters, Sarah-Jane Crawford and Spice Girl Mel B cringe-worthy. One viewer tweeted “So I was going to watch the Mobos but Mel B has done my head in after ten minutes!”

Sam Smith was the big winner of the night, banking four awards including best song and best album. The ‘Leave Your Lover’ singer also won best male over Tinie Tempah, Fuse ODG, Ghetts and Krept and Konan. The British soul singer also beat out big name acts such as Ed Sheeran, for best song with his smash hit ‘Stay with me’.
