So, today’s the day – it’s Valentine’s! Amongst some other things that you may be getting up to today (don’t worry, we won’t ask), you may want to celebrate by watching some really soppy TV.

Well, if you have Sky TV then finding your favourite Valentine’s picks will be easy; with a whole section attributed to the special day, you’ll find everything you want. Just take a look at your Homepage, and get binge-watching.

However, for those of you who don’t, we have you covered. Here are our top picks to enjoy while snuggling up on the sofa and eating lots and lots of chocolate.

First Dates: Valentine’s Special: This is a favourite every Valentine’s Day; what could be better than people-watching? Plus, if that isn’t enough, you get to see Fred in all his glory! We’re certainly not complaining. Though it did air last night, you can catch it again on 4OD.

50 First Dates: This is a bit of an old one, but it’s very soppy and will leave you feeling very much in love.

500 Days of Summer: This certainly isn’t the typical chick flick, but it’s a great representation of modern day relationships. If you’re sick of cliched films, you’ve got to watch this! Plus, with two amazing actors in lead roles, it’s going to be a good one.

Love, Actually: We just had to include this one, didn’t we? It’s a classic chick flick, but also a great comedy. So, you might find that you both actually enjoy it!

The Notebook: Again, this is just a classic. If you want to laugh, cry, and feel every other emotion under the sun, this is perfect for you. It’ll take you on a real rollercoaster, but it’ll be worth the ride.

La La Land: Breaking the record for the most Golden Globes won by a single film, this is certainly one that will impress. Though musicals may not be up everyone’s street, starring both Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone it’s definitely worth giving it a go.

So, grab that box of chocolates and get binge-watching.
