Mass Effect: Andromeda has soared to the very top of the UK physical games chart this weekend, bringing an end to Ghost Recon: Wildlands’s reign at the top.  Ubisoft’s open-world title has been called boring and only fun with friends, while Andromeda has been praised for its new combat system and world building.

This reaction caused Horizon Zero Dawn, which received incredible critical acclaim, to be pushed down to number four, with Lego Worlds at number two. You can see the full list of the Top 10 below.

  1. Mass Effect: Andromeda
  2. Ghost Recon: Wildlands
  3. Lego Worlds
  4. Horizon Zero Dawn
  5. Grand Theft Auto V
  6. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  7. FIFA 17
  8. Rocket League
  9. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
  10. Forza Horizon 3

Note that this list is only for physical copies of games, which explains why Zelda is on there.

GTA is still holding on strong there in fifth place, which is impressive, considering it is now two years old on PC, and nearly four years old on console.
