Former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding will be appearing on our screens later this year when she appears in four episodes on Coronation Street.

The 33 year old will be playing a feisty interesting character mixing things up on Britain’s longest – running soap where she will be making life difficult for trouble maker Tracy Barlow.

She has appeared in films like St Trinians and St Trinians 2 but nothing quite like the street, which she is very excited about. On her arrival on the infamous Weatherfield cobbles  Sarah said, “I am excited to be joining Coronation Street. As a fan of the show it is a huge honour for me to join the cast. I can’t wait to get started.”

Filming for her part will start in May.
