Finn is a “Big Deal’ in New Star Wars

While he might have initially lied about himself in TFA, John Boyega’s character, Finn, is apparently quite a big deal in the upcoming Star Wars. This next film will follow the story of Rey, Finn and Poe, as they continue to fight against The First Order, the psychopathic Kylo Ren and his Master, Lord Snoke.

At the end of The Force Awakens, Finn is slashed in the back by Kylo Ren’s crossblade sabre, and is still recovering in The Last Jedi.

“Think about what the gossip’s going to be like in the Resistance: ‘Oh, that’s the guy that got slashed down by Kylo?'” Boyega said. “Finn’s a big deal.”

The actor then explained that a lightsaber doesn’t just cut you or burn you. It burns the skin and cells, meaning recovery time is long and hard.

Which raises questions as to what Kylo Ren will end up looking like…
