“Is it Harambe Reincarnated?” No, You Idiot.

Last week, at Philadelphia Zoo, Honi gorilla gave birth to a new tiny baby. The newborn is the second baby that the 21-year-old primate has had so far, and its gender is still yet to be determined.
The zoo’s Instagram page asked the public to send in name suggestions for the new addition.
Not the best idea.
In the coming weeks, as the baby’s gender is determined, we will be working with our thoughtful and committed keeper staff to develop suggested names that we would like help from our community in finalizing. So please stay tuned – once we have names for consideration, we will let you know so that you can weigh in and vote for your favorite!
The response was… to be expected.
Oh and Twitter weighed in.
Theres gonna be a gorilla naming contest at the Philly Zoo. I am 100% sure Harambe will win, and 100% sure that the baby won't be named that

Harambe was a western lowland gorilla. The Philly Zoo has a new western lowland gorilla. IS IT HARAMBE REINCARNATED? https://t.co/p4C0avYswY

Okay so a zoo in Philly is letting the internet name a new born baby gorilla. Uh oh here come all the Harambe jokes again. Rest In Peace.

Unfortunately, the zoo will not be naming the baby gorilla Harambe.
Director of Communications at the zoo Dana Lombardo told The Verge that the team caring for the baby will come up with a suitable list of names for the public to choose from.
We’re sorry to disappoint.
In other news, a baby monkey was born the other day that looked startlingly like He Who Shall Not Be Named.
Harsh! She's cute, not hideous! https://t.co/x9aSlOgK0q
