Screw anyone who says otherwise.
American body-positive photographer Jess Fielder has released a rather awesome photo set of some rather awesome ladies.
Being body positive can be a pain in the rear. You know, you try your hardest to stay positive and love yourself, but it could take just one comment or sneer and you’re a wreck. But these women are showing how to rise above all that hate, and become the beautiful transcendent beings you see below.
Each woman was handed a card, and asked to write down an insult that had been thrown at them, or something someone had said that could be deemed hurtful. They then took a photo with that card, then another card saying someone awesome about themselves.
My fave was the sheer irony of this:

From now on, whenever I out-sass someone, that is the photo I will use.
This is borderline Midweek Blues, but I couldn’t let you all wait that long.
To everyone struggling to look at themselves in the mirror, stay strong. Be safe, and you’re worth it.
