Lawbreakers isn’t Awful

Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski is back with a brand-new game, taking inspiration from literally everything else that has come out this year. It takes its lessons from games like Overwatch and Paladins, in the sense that, it is a hero shooter but feels more Quake-like in nature.
It’s a 6 vs 6 shooter with a multitude of modes and maps already, some working better than others. The response so far has been quite positive. Here’s what everyone is saying.
Gamespot – “What counts is that [Lawbreakers’] fresh anti-gravity mechanics transcends its first-glance novel appeal and creates limitless combat situations that will be new and inviting to many shooter fans.”
PC Gamer – “It’s a treat to play an FPS where some of the roles demand more left-hand coordination than they do mouse aim.”
Game Informer – “Even with an admirable effort to capture the spirit of the core arena-shooter and offer players a chance to show off their skills, the hero-shooter space is inundated with choices, and LawBreakers doesn’t offer much to stand out amongst the rest of the pack.”
IGN – “The big question I still have is whether my patience will wear thin with LawBreakers’ grab bag matchmaking queue. It hasn’t yet, and until it does I’ll still be rocket-boosting around with glee most of the time.”
So yeah, it’s currently available on Steam, PS4 and Xbox One.
